We’re Apple. We don’t wear suits. We don’t even own suits.

Apple: HTML5 and Web Standards
…web standards are open, reliable, highly secure, and efficient. They allow web designers and developers to create advanced graphics, typography, animations, and transitions. Standards aren’t add-ons to the web. They are the web. And you can start using them today.
It’s great how Apple is pushing web standards and getting the word out there, there’s also a great HTML5 showcase of some great demos using these technologies.

New open standards created in the mobile era, such as HTML5, will win on mobile devices (and PCs too). Perhaps Adobe should focus more on creating great HTML5 tools for the future, and less on criticizing Apple for leaving the past behind.
Great read from Steve Jobs on why Flash is not and will not be included on their iPhones, iPods and iPads. Love the way he ends it with the quote above, us Web Designers can only hope Adobe would take his advice.

Apple iPad
The iPad (starting at $499) is Apple’s new device to fill the gap between the iPhone and Macbook. It has a 9.7 inch screen and weighs 1.5 pounds.
iPad has some very handy accessories in the keyboard dock and case. Loving some of the design work in some of the applications that Apple has redone also.
